We are Re-Designing Middle School – Join Us!
Capital Village PCS invites passionate, growth-minded educators to join our innovative team as we reimagine middle school learning. Here, small class sizes of 15 students on average allow personalized attention from two teachers in most classrooms.
Here, we’ve created a nurturing village environment of no more than 175 middle school students, intentionally small to facilitate deep relationships. Through Individualized Learning Plans designed in partnership with students, families and teachers, each scholar customizes their experience unleashing unique talents.Through Individualized Learning Plans created collaboratively with students, families, and teachers, each scholar customizes their experience according to their unique strengths and passions.
Rigorous academics are brought to life through interdisciplinary project-based learning centered on local issues. Following EL Education principles, we empower youth to solve real problems in their communities through Social Justice Projects that align rigorous standards with developing important life skills. Personalizing and differentiating instruction for each student requires hard work and collaboration between our teachers.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to use a variety of equipment and classroom tools such as computers, copiers, and equipment for children, etc. Must be able to exert a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Due to the amount of time spent standing and/or walking, physical requirements are consistent with those for Light Work.
